David Hartmann - President and CEO

David Hartmann is Tiger Claw's president and co-founder. He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a degree in mechanical engineering. David has worked for such companies as Xerox, Pratt & Whitney, Kodak, and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Prior to joining Tiger Claw full time, David worked for Hewlett-Packard as a product engineer for personal computers before he took on a greater role building HP factories and assuring worldwide quality standards.

Dave Martel - Vice President & Product Development Manager

As Tiger Claw's Vice President and co-founder, Dave Martel is responsible for research & development and launching new products to market. A master cabinet maker as well as a lifelong builder of high-end custom homes, he has spent nearly two decades in the family-owned business, Martel & Sons Builders. Martel & Sons has been in business in Connecticut since 1963 and is a very well-respected construction company in the state. To date, Dave's knowledge and expertise in the custom home building and remodeling industry has been paramount to Tiger Claw's success. A closet inventor, he is also the catalyst behind Tiger Claw's first hidden deck fastener design. He continuously works on designing new products and new ways to improve Tiger Claw's existing products.

Don Martel - Customer Service Manager

Don Martel, one of the three company founders and veteran builder, is responsible for Tiger Claw’s extensive customer service programs. With more than 20 years experience in high-end custom home and deck building, he is dedicated to helping builders & home owners get products that are durable, easy to use and cost effective. He has recently established a customer service center that interacts with customers to answer product & compatibility questions, provide installation support & useful decking tips, as well as gather feedback for future product development. Prior to founding Tiger Claw, Don was instrumental in the success of his family owned business, Martel & Sons Builders and will use his knowledge to ensure the same success for Tiger Claw, Inc.
